About the Artist:
My journey into the world of beads began at the doorstep of Bedazzled, a bead shop in the heart of Washington DC. Once I set foot into that marvelous shop, I was simply dazzled by the array of glass pendants, gems, and pearls. Like a kid in a candy store, I wanted to sample everything! After a year of learning all about jewelry design, I launched Baubles Handcrafted Jewelry.
My philosophy of design is that each piece of jewelry I create should intuitively evoke a certain mood. All my pieces have individual names to reflect shades of human emotions and experiences. I envision each piece as a composition of wearable art, with great attention to the smallest of details. I invite you to browse my picture galleries, which exhibit a variety of pieces.
I draw inspiration from dynamic shapes and colors. The organic textures in Southern California's landscapes of desert, mountain, and ocean influence my designs. Also, I am inspired by master artists such as Gaudi, Rembrandt, Miro, and Calder, as well as by local artists in the South Bay.
As the sole designer of Baubles, I am intimately connected to each of my creations, from the selection of materials to the finishing touches. I take a personal approach to jewelry design, and I enjoy matching my clients with jewelry they love to wear.

Where do you find your materials?
I strongly believe in supporting the local economy, so I purchase many of my pendants and supplies from artisans and merchants in the South Bay. Also, I travel to gem exhibitions to hand-select each of the gems, pearls, hand-blown glass, and vintage beads in my pieces. In February, my shopping expedition to the international gem show in Tucson, Arizona exposed me to hundreds of rare gems and minerals, and I have created some exquisite designs from the materials I found in Tucson.

If I see something I like on the website, how can I buy it?
Please e-mail me with your contact information and title of the jewelry piece you are interested in buying. I will be in touch with you to let you know about the availability and the price.
If the piece that I like is already sold, will you make something similar for me?
Some of my pieces in the photo gallery have already been purchased. However, I am happy to customize a piece of jewelry for you that may suit you even better than the one that you see on the website.
Do you have a shop?
At this time, I sell exclusively at event boutiques. Please check the "Events" page frequently to find out where I will be displaying my jewelry next.
Custom Jewelry:
I truly enjoy the collaboration process with my clients to create custom pieces of jewelry. Each piece is tailored exactly to my client's specifications, and I also take into consideration the personality of my client in designing the piece of jewelry.
If you have in mind a gift of jewelry for a friend or family member, I will create a piece especially for the occasion. For customers interested in sets of jewelry, I can make matching sets of necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Also, I can work with you to transform your older pieces of jewelry into new, contemporary designs.
I use sterling silver and gold fill for all the metal components. Custom pieces made with gold, white gold, and platinum are available upon request. Price quotes will be given when the order is placed.
